Marvin Francisco (58) was appointed an elder with the Leavenworth Church of Christ May 4, 2008. He and his wife, Virginia, have been members of the congregation since August 2004. They both graduated from Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas in the early 1970’s. They have a son and daughter and 4 grandchildren.
Brother Francisco has been in the educational field for 37 years as a coach, teacher, and school administrator. He retired in 2004, and then moved to Leavenworth where he resumed teaching in the Leavenworth schools. Both he and his wife have been involved in teaching Bible classes in all the congregations they have worshiped in as they made their way here.
