Missions

We take seriously the command Jesus left in Mark 16:15 - "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation." Since we are the "light of the world (Matt. 5:14-16), we make an effort to support mission works around the world. Not only do we support mission works financially, we also have members who periodically take time to go on mission trips.

This section features the mission works and missions news. While we cannot respond to every request that comes in for mission support, we can pass the requests on so you may have the opportunity to help in some way.

Ukraine

Several of our members travel to Ukraine during the summer to do mission work. Ukraine was part of the former Sovient Union and has shown a remarkable receptivity to the Gospel. We have sent financial help to help build a church building in Ukraine as well. To read about the latest mission trip, use the links below.

Mexico

Our work in Mexico involves support of Miguel Arroyo, evangelist and teacher in Queretaro. In addition to preaching in Queretaro, Miguel is also involved in some smaller churches in the area as well as a preacher training program.

Philippines

We support June Mancusi in the Philippines. He has been working tirelessly to promote the Gospel and encourage our brethren in Dingras.

Japan

Debi Hobelman did a mission trip to Japan with a group from York College on May 10th through the 27th of 2005. She has shared the results and photos here. Debbi and a close friend from York College, Erica Towell, decided to return to Japan to work with the missionaries for a year. Her letters, photos and correspondence are below.

We have supported Sally Morton who is in Japan doing a Let's Start Talking Campaign by teaching English using the Bible as a the text.

Mongolia

Bill Crossman went on a month-long mission trip to Mongol Uls in September 2007. Read his trip reports and view photos.
