Life Groups

We feel that the small-group ministry is a good way to follow the example of the early church when they met house to house.  These days, you can be a member of a church for years and still hardly know anyone.  Without a tight-knit relationship with other Christians, it is much easier for one to fall away.  The Bible uses the metaphor of a body in 1 Corinthians 12 to illustrate how we are to care for each other.  That is the Biblical basis for Life Groups

Small groups are people-oriented.  Ministry, caring for each other's needs, and encouragement happen naturally in the groups.

The mechanics of Life Groups are fairly simple.  Once a year, our members sign up for a Life Group of their choice.  Each group is made up of 6 to 12 adults and their children, and is led by a trained facilitator.  The Life Groups meet in each other's homes each week from September through May.  If you desire relationships and want to be cared for properly, then consider participating in a Life Group.

One Life Group meets at the church building every Sunday evening at 6  to accommodate visitors and members wishing a more traditional meeting place and time.  During the summer, the entire congregation meets together at the church building on Sundays at 6:00 PM.
